On 31 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,624 ordinary shares at a price of 233.96p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,661,441 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,921,761 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
