On 7 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 16,118 ordinary shares at a price of 233.7p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,841,960 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,741,242 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
