On 15 November 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 12,451 ordinary shares at a price of 213.26p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,735,768 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,847,434 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
