On 11 December 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 7,210 ordinary shares at a price of 243.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,755,176 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 92,828,026 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
