On 31 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 9,375 ordinary shares at a price of 235.7143p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,844,166 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,739,036 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
