On 9 October 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 4,150 ordinary shares at a price of 241p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,087,653 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,495,549 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
