On 10 October 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 4,860 ordinary shares at a price of 240.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,092,513 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,490,689 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
