On 3 August 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 235.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,856,493 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,726,709 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
