On 12 December 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 45,121 ordinary shares at a price of 243.3919p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,800,297 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 92,782,905 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
