On 15 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 16,337 ordinary shares at a price of 235.77p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,955,796 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,627,406 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
