On 7 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 14,799 ordinary shares at a price of 226.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,918,675 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,664,527 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
