On 11 April 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 24,440 ordinary shares at a price of 231.61p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,928,595 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,654,607 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
