On 16 October 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 5,047 ordinary shares at a price of 241p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,110,725 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,472,477 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
