On 18 December 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 244.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,870,344 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 92,712,858 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
