On 19 December 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 18,840 ordinary shares at a price of 244.9897p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,889,184 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 92,694,018 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
