On 10 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,607 ordinary shares at a price of 228p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,947,848 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,635,354 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
