On 20 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 21,158 ordinary shares at a price of 240p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,988,023 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,595,179 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
