On 21 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 14,171 ordinary shares at a price of 238.29p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,002,194 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,581,008 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
