On 22 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 4,974 ordinary shares at a price of 239p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,007,168 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,576,034 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
