Transaction in own shares - 21 April 2017

On 20 April 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 8,820 ordinary shares at a price of 224p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,105,018 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,478,184 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
