On 21 April 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 7,152 ordinary shares at a price of 225.45p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,112,170 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,471,032 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
