On 14 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 20,000 ordinary shares at a price of 228.11p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,992,848 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,590,354 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
