On 15 August 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,753 ordinary shares at a price of 239.4715p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,862,361 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,720,841 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
