On 15 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 3,033 ordinary shares at a price of 229.15p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,995,881 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,587,321 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
