On 16 August 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 6 ordinary shares at a price of 239.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,862,367 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,720,835 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
