On 16 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 14,800 ordinary shares at a price of 229.88p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,010,681 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,572,521 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
