On 17 August 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 56,715 ordinary shares at a price of 239.2355p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,919,082 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,664,120 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
