On 28 December 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 243.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,931,123 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 92,652,079 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
