On 8 December 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 67 ordinary shares at a price of 216.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,736,067 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,847,135 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
