On 27 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 8 ordinary shares at a price of 238.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,026,260 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,556,942 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
