On 28 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 2,424 ordinary shares at a price of 235.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,028,684 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,554,518 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
