On 25 April 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 4,490 ordinary shares at a price of 229.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,126,660 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,456,542 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
