On 23 October 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 18,000 ordinary shares at a price of 241.7475p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,241,002 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,342,200 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
