On 25 October 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 30,000 ordinary shares at a price of 240.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,291,254 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,291,948 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
