On 29 June 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 3,238 ordinary shares at a price of 233.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,031,922 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,551,280 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
