On 22 August 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,612 ordinary shares at a price of 240.0720p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,941,847 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,641,355 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
