On 4 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 99,288 ordinary shares at a price of 233.28p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,133,275 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,449,927 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
