On 3 May 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 32,119 ordinary shares at a price of 228.04p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 8,296,242 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 95,286,960 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
