On 24 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 165 ordinary shares at a price of 231.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,041,950 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,541,252 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
