On 28 February 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 25,000 ordinary shares at a price of 232.64p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,079,104 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,504,098 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
