On 15 December 2016, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 65 ordinary shares at a price of 222.0p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 6,746,739 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,836,463 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
