On 31 October 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 20,520 ordinary shares at a price of 241.4969p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 10,312,672 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,270,530 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
