On 25 August 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,535 ordinary shares at a price of 241.3337p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,961,319 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,621,883 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
