On 29 August 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 476 ordinary shares at a price of 239.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,961,795 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,621,407 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
