On 30 August 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,090 ordinary shares at a price of 239.2197p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY.

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,962,885 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 93,620,317 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
