On 2 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 29,880 ordinary shares at a price of 236.33p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,115,496 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,467,706 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
