On 3 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 236.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,125,496 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,457,706 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
