On 11 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 4,254 ordinary shares at a price of 233.9589p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,159,891 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,423,311 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
