On 13 July 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 117,952 ordinary shares at a price of 234.545p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 9,283,437 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 94,299,765 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
