On 8 March 2017, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 6,547 ordinary shares at a price of 237.43p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 7,250,255 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 96,332,947 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
